That June was a varied month is a massive understatement! From a visit to the Building Crafts College in Stratford to two White Tie events, one featuring the Duke of Edinburgh in the welcome line, via a meat plant in Crawley and a 100th birthday celebration for Dalziel in Harrogate …who said the life of a Master Butcher was “normal.”

Our Annual dinner in celebration of Eid al-Adha took place on Tuesday the 16th of June 2026 at Butchers Hall, held in partnership with AHDB and NFU (National Farmers' Union). the evening brought together colleagues from across the meat and agriculture sectors to mark Eid al-Adha and reflect on the importance of diversity and inclusion within the industry.

The Inter Livery clay shoot is the largest two day clay event in Europe with 109 teams competing this year and 436 participants, made up of livery and freeman teams. Held this year at West London Shooting Ground with a good lunch laid on afterwards.
