The Worshipful Company of Butchers and City Livery Events

The annual golf day is always an enjoyable occasion with the opportunity to have fun, meet fellow Liverymen and raise funds for the refurbishment of Butchers’ Hall.

The Master is very pleased to invite Liverymen and their guests to the 2020 WCB Golf Day which will take place on Thursday 11th June at Essendon Golf Course, Bedwell Park, Essendon, Hatfield, Hertfordshire AL9 6HN. (www.essendongc.co.uk)

Timings

• 9.00am: Registration, bacon baps and coffee
• 10.00am: Play begins with a shotgun start (playing Stapleford rules, maximum handicap 24 in four balls).
• 3.00pm: 3 course meal, followed by presentations, prizes and small auction.
• 5.30pm – 6.00pm approx: finish

Costs

£130 per person or £500 for a team of four. This includes Breakfast roll, teas and coffees, Golf and the three-course meal.

Places are limited. Please reply as soon as possible using the Booking Form – but no later than 24th April.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship from companies or individuals is invited for each hole at a cost of £250. We are also looking for donations of prizes for the longest drive and nearest the pin and for the main individual and team prizes. Items for the small auction are also welcome.
