WCB October Court and Livery Dinner 2021
The Master Elect, Margaret Boanas, invites you to attend the first Court and Livery event of her year on Friday 1st October 2021, after her election as Master at Common Hall. Liverymen and guests are warmly invited to join us for an elegant Black Tie evening at our Hall.
Our guest of honour will be His Excellency Adrian O'Neill, The Ambassador of Ireland to the United Kingdom, who will be accompanied by his wife Aisling.
Ambassador O'Neill began his role to the UK in 2017 and became Honorary Freeman of the Butchers' Company in September 2018 at Apothecaries' Hall. This will be the first time that we will welcome him to our Livery home.
The format of this very special evening will replicate a Court lunch, with all that you would normally expect. New Liverymen will be admitted, the meal will be fabulous, the guest speaker will be entertaining and the drinks will flow whilst we enjoy good company with our friends, colleagues and family.
A sparkling wine reception will be served at 6.30pm, followed by a three course meal served in the Great Hall at 7pm. Special thanks to Dawn Meats for kindly donating the Irish Red Hereford Beef Sirloin, which will be served for the main course.
The 200 club draw and the champagne raffle will also take place during the event, with after dinner drinks available at our renowned Stirrup Cup which will bring this illustrious evening to a close.
A Butchers' Company event is good craic. See you there!
