In the 1970s, a group of Yorkshire pig farmers joined forces to mill their own feed, and Cranswick was formed.  

In the 1980s, we moved into food production, creating one of the UK’s first ‘farm to fork’ offerings for the rapidly changing grocery market. Today, we’re one of the largest food producers in Britain, remaining true to our ethos of creating authentically made British food, without compromise.
