Court Lunch, September 2024

The Master invites Liverymen and their guests to the last Court Lunch of his year on Friday 6th September at Butchers' Hall, when we will welcome historian, lecturer, author and broadcaster, John Benjamin as our guest speaker.

Our September lunch is always a good one, as we thank the Master for their year, present the annual Gold Award winner and look ahead to Common Hall.

The price of the lunch is £105 per person, inc VAT which includes drinks reception, a three-course lunch with wine, and a Stirrup Cup.

Who is John Benjamin?

Our guest speaker will be John Benjamin (pictured above), a jewellery historian, lecturer, author and broadcaster. Formerly International Director of Jewellery at Phillips Fine Art Auctioneers, since 1999 he has been an independent jewellery consultant on behalf of the private client network. 

John is well-known from his appearances over 30 years on BBC Television’s ever-popular Antiques Roadshow. He is a Freeman of the Goldsmiths’ Company, Founder Liveryman and Middle Warden of The Worshipful Company of Arts Scholars, and in 2021 was appointed Honorary Jewellery Adviser to the National Trust.

Please note that if you need to cancel your booking 7 days or less before the event takes place, a cancellation fee will be incurred at the Full per person ticket price rate.
