The Worshipful Company of Butchers and City Livery Events

Join us at Butchers' Hall on Friday 1st of August for our annual Younger Generation Court Lunch when the guest speaker will be City Guide & Historian Anne Fletcher, who will be giving a lively, family-friendly talk and slideshow on the theme: "The Urchins of London." Expect tales of street kids, sneaky thieves, a few rats—and a nod to Oliver! the musical.

It promises to be an entertaining afternoon with a touch of history, humour, and a bit of mischief. 

Liverymen are invited to bring members of the family and the younger generation (age 17 yrs and under) to Butchers’ Hall to see our home, experience a Livery event and enjoy an informal Court lunch.

This unique day will follow exactly the same format as you would expect:

• A drinks reception will commence at 12.30pm
• A delicious 3-course meal will be served at 1pm
• The Master will preside and welcome everybody to the Hall
• The Great Hall will amaze younger guests as this impressive room will be dressed with silver and all the trimmings that you would expect to see
• A stirrup cup will follow after the meal, when a raffle and the 200 Club draw will take place

This will be a lovely day to introduce your younger generation to our Livery, meet new friends and allow them to experience what it is like to be a Liveryman!

The price of the lunch is £105 per person (Adult - over 18) and £60 per child (17 years and under).

Please note that if you need to cancel your booking 14 days or less before the event takes place, a cancellation fee will be incurred at the Full per person ticket price rate.
