Join us at Butchers’ Hall on Friday 5th December for our monthly Court Lunch, when we will welcome Simon Halliday, a Former Rugby Star and Founder of Sporting Wine Club, as our guest speaker.

Simon Halliday had a celebrated rugby career as a versatile centre and wing, known for his speed, tactical skill, and strong defence. He played for Bath Rugby, helping them win multiple domestic titles, and earned 23 caps for England between 1985 and 1991, including appearances in the Five Nations Championship. He was also a World Cup finalist in 1991, representing England in their campaign to the final.

Halliday also toured with the British and Irish Lions in 1989, facing top international competition in Australia. After retiring, he co-founded the Sporting Wine Club in 2017 with business partner Chris Mariner, creating an exclusive wine club with a unique sporting focus, combining his love of sport with fine wine.

We look forward to hearing from him in December.

The price of the lunch is £105 per person, inc VAT which includes drinks reception, a three-course lunch with wine, and a Stirrup Cup.
