Join us at Butchers’ Hall on Friday, 9th January for our first Court Lunch of the year, celebrating Charity and Education. On this special day, we will be joined by representatives from our affiliated charities and educational institutions.

Our guest speaker, Professor Nick Lemoine CBE MD PhD FMedSci, will represent the Master’s chosen charity of the year, Barts Charity, supporting the Ovacatch Project for early ovarian cancer detection. 

Guest Speaker

Nick is National Director of Strategic Development and Interim Director of Life Sciences in the NIHR Research Delivery Network. He is also Professor of Molecular Oncology at Barts Cancer Institute and Director of R&I for Cancer at Barts Health NHS Trust in London. He is a clinician scientist who has worked in pancreatic cancer research for more than thirty years, focused on understanding the molecular genetics of the disease and developing novel biological therapies. He was awarded a CBE in the New Year’s Honours for services to clinical research, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We look forward to hearing from him in January.

Times: 12.15pm drinks for 1.00pm lunch

Meat for the Main course (Steak & Kidney Pie) supplied by Owen Taylor & Sons

Where: Butchers' Hall

Price: £105 per person, inc VAT

Includes drinks reception, a three-course lunch with wine, and a Stirrup Cup

Dress code: Dark Lounge Suit (jacket & tie) / Business Attire
