WCB September Court & Livery Lunch
Liverymen and their guests are invited to join us on Friday, 4 September for the current Master's Farewell Court Lunch, when our guest speaker will be Mike Mathieson, Prime Warden, The Worshipful Company of Dyers.

Mike Mathieson was born and raised in Oxshott, Surrey, and educated at Malvern in the Midlands. Passionate about music, art and football from an early age, Mike joined Island Records at 17¾ as a Regional Radio Plugger, later working at Stiff, Arista and Polydor before becoming Head of PR at Virgin Records under Richard Branson. During his music career, he helped launch the careers of artists including The Pogues, Björk, Lenny Kravitz, The Verve, Soul II Soul and Whitney Houston.
After leaving Virgin, Mike co-founded Cake, a pioneering marketing agency specialising in Brand Entertainment. Known for bold and creative campaigns, Cake grew to over 150 people in London and New York, won numerous awards and was sold to Havas in 2012.
Since leaving Cake in 2015, Mike has advised agencies, charities, sports organisations and brands on marketing and management.
