Join us at Butchers’ Hall on Friday 2nd October for the first Court Lunch of the new Livery year  hosted by the new Master (subject to election), when we will welcome Emily MacKenzie, COO, St Paul's Cathedral, when we will welcome Emily MacKenzie, COO, St Paul's Cathedral as our guest speaker.

Emily is the Chief Operating Officer at St Paul’s Cathedral, with overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations and delivery of the strategic vision, a role she has held since Jan 2023. Prior to this Emily was Chief Operating Officer for Gloucester Cathedral for 8 years and has held senior roles in the charity sector in operations, comms and fundraising as well as a number of trusteeships during her 30 year career.

Having studied her Masters at the Bayes Business School, Emily’s links to the City go back many years. She is a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Cutlers, and in her spare time likes to walk. visit heritage sites and spend time with her three  grown up children. Emily and her husband, Andy, are working  though their bucket list, including visiting the ten smallest countries in the world.

We look forward to hearing from her on It Shouldn't Happen to a COO – a light-hearted tale of the highs and lows of running one of England's most iconic buildings.

Price: £120 per person, inc VAT

Dress code: Dark Lounge Suit (jacket & tie) / Business Attire
