Annual Church Service

Liverymen are invited to attend our annual church service at St Bartholomew the Great on Thursday 10th September 2026. Seats should be taken by 10.45am for a Service which will commence at 11am, led by Honorary Chaplain, Rev'd Father Marcus Walker.

Only spouses/partners are welcome to attend the Church Service.

Common Hall at Butchers' Hall

Following the service, Liverymen should respond to the summons to attend Common Hall at Butchers' Hall, to elect The Master and members of Court for 2026/27. Common Hall will commence at noon.

The Summons, Paperwork and Financial statement for Liverymen is available to download in member's announcements.

Spouses and partners of Liverymen are invited to Butchers’ Hall for tea and coffee, followed by a short talk entitled “10 Things You Might Not Know About the City of London”, presented by Liveryman Andy MacKenzie. 

Lunch following Common Hall

A sparkling drinks reception will be served following Common Hall. A three-course lunch will be served at circa 1.15pm, beef for the main course supplied by Aubrey Allen. Wine and soft drinks are included, followed by tea/coffee and petits fours.

Only spouses/partners are welcome to accompany you.

Cost of the lunch £90 per person, inc VAT.
