Lunch after the Lord Mayor's Show 2021

Following a year's rest, the Lord Mayor's Show returns to the streets of the City of London on Saturday 13 November 2021.

Lord Mayor's Show returns this year

The Lord Mayor's Show is an iconic and memorable day in the City of London. Dating back to it's origins in 1215 when King John issued a Royal Charter which allowed the City to annually elect its own Lord Mayor.

Since then, the Lord Mayor's Show parade has evolved to become a landmark day in London life. The newly elected Lord Mayor makes way from the City of London to the City of Westminster to be sworn into office and declare his/her allegiance to the King/Queen. Joined by City Livery Companies, trade organisations, charities and the armed forces, the Lord Mayor travels in his glorious gold horse drawn carriage in a crowd-pleasing procession.

The parade is an amazing sight to see and begins at 11am from Guildhall, passing St Paul's Cathedral on its way. It is a glorious day not to be missed, although the weather is usually traditionally British - bring your warm jumpers and umbrellas!

In previous years, we have offered tickets for seating in the grandstand by St Paul's Cathedral, however this year The Master recommends that everyone views the parade from the pavement to be fully immersed in the atmosphere of the crowd.

After the show, Butchers' Hall will be hosting a 3 course lunch for £59 per person, which includes a prosecco and soft drinks reception, Roast Beef meal, tea/coffee and petit fours. Wines will be sold separately. A reduced price of £49 applies for children aged 4-12 yrs.

Please indicate the split of adult/children aged 4-12 yrs in the additional information box when making your reservation to book the discounted rate.

Booking for this event has now closed.
