The Worshipful Company of Butchers and City Livery Events

This event will be a chance to step out on a glorious golf course, network and have fun with members of the trade. Open to everyone in the meat industry, we invite you to tee off with fellow members of the industry at Essendon Country Club on Thursday 6th July 2023.

A golf day is always an enjoyable occasion with the opportunity to have fun, meet fellow golfers and raise funds for our Livery.

This year, we wish to invite Liverymen and non-Liverymen in the Meat trade to the inaugural Meat Industry Invitational Golf Day, which will take place on Thursday 6th July at Essendon Golf Course, Bedwell Park, Essendon, Hatfield, Hertfordshire AL9 6HN. (www.essendongc.co.uk)

Timings

• 8.30am: Registration, bacon baps and coffee
• 9.30am: Play begins with a shotgun start (playing Stapleford rules, maximum handicap 24 in four balls).
• 2.30pm: 3 course meal, followed by presentations, prizes and small auction.
• 5.00pm – 5.30pm approx: finish

Costs

£500 for a team of four or £675 for a team of four and sponsorship of a hole. Entry fee includes Breakfast roll, teas and coffees, Golf and the three-course meal.
