The Worshipful Company of Butchers and City Livery Events

United Guilds’ Service 2020

Unfortunately this event has been cancelled.

With prominent reserved seats in St Paul’s Cathedral, followed by lunch with the Master at Butchers’ Hall, we recommend early booking by Liverymen to ensure participation in this very special event.

Established in 1943 for the Livery Companies and Guilds of the City of London as a means of raising the spirits of the City following the blitz during the Second World War, the United Guilds' Service has been a permanent annual “House full” event at St Paul’s Cathedral ever since.

Spouses and partners are welcome to attend the Service although preference in the Butchers pew will be given to Liverymen.

Attendance at the Service is free.

The optional lunch afterwards at Butchers' Hall will begin with a drinks reception followed by a three-course meal and wine.
