United Guilds Service & Lunch 2023
On Friday 24th March, the Annual United Guilds Service takes place at St Paul's Cathedral. This is one of the largest City Livery events in the calendar and is a special occasion for all Liverymen to experience.
The Annual United Guilds Service was first established in 1943 and continues to serve as a reminder of the religious origins of the Guilds.
All 110 Livery companies attend, with a procession of Livery Master's of the Great 12, plus 12 other Livery Companies on rotation.
The traditional service is attended by The Bishop of London and The Right Honourable the Lord Mayor. This year, the preacher leading the service will be The Dean of Westminster Abbey, The Very Reverend Dr David Hoyle MBE.
The Butchers' Company have been allocated 20 spaces in a specially reserved pew in the North Nave of the Cathedral.
Tickets are allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis for Liverymen and their guests, however seats are given to Liverymen as a first priority if applications exceed the tickets which are available.

Roast Beef lunch after the Service
The Annual United Guilds Service will conclude in time for you to make your way to Butchers' Hall to enjoy an exquisite meal, prepared by our in-house expert chefs. Enjoy a glass of prosecco on arrival, followed by a 3 course Roast Beef meal served with half a bottle of wine, concluding with tea, coffee and chocolates.
The cost of the lunch is £80 per person, inc VAT.
