WCB Court Lunch January 2023
For our first Court & Livery Lunch of 2023, we will be celebrating our Charity and Education links on Friday 13th January - a day that will be far from unlucky for the Livery!
Following a difficult selection process, the Charities Committee have selected Teach First and Farms for City Children as the Butchers' Company Major Charity Award recipients, for the period 1st January 2023 to 31st December 2025.
In celebration of the start of a new period, Donna Edmonds, Chief Executive of Farms for City Children, will be our guest speaker on this special day.
Representatives from Teach First and The Poppy Factory will also be attending.
Our well-established links to education and the support of students in our industry will also be recognised and honoured as we proudly announce the 2022 Gary Baker Award winner.
We also look forward to hosting three of our MRes students from Harper Adams University.
The menu on this Wintery day will be fuelled by our traditional January meat pie, which is a feast not to miss for our lucky attendees!
Court lunches are a sell out, and this lunch will be no exception, so book early to avoid disappointment.
