WCB July Court Lunch 2023
At the Court lunch taking place on 7th July, we look forward to welcoming The High Commissioner for Australia to the UK, Mr Stephen Smith as our guest of honour.
Commissioner Smith will receive his Honorary Freedom of the Butchers' Company at the Court meeting, which precedes the Court lunch.
Mr Smith has been a Professor of Public International Law at the University of Western Australia since 2014.
He was a member of the Australian Parliament for 20 years, and has served as Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Trade, followed by Minister for Defence.
In keeping with the theme, we look forward to enjoying a main course kindly provided by The Australian Lamb Company.
The Master and Clerk of the Barbers' Company and the Cutlers' Company have been invited to attend.
Friends, family and colleagues welcome.
