All Liverymen who were admitted on or before 31st May 2024 are invited to attend the Guildhall on Tuesday 24th June 2025 for the Election of Sheriffs for the City of London. Followed by lunch at Butchers' Hall. Please note you won't be admitted without the Election Pass.

The Worshipful Company of Butchers Yacht Club (WCBYC) proudly relaunched on 9th April 2025 at Butchers’ Hall. The occasion brought together a full room of enthusiastic Liverymen for the Annual General Meeting (AGM), followed by a convivial Carvery Lunch hosted by the Master.

Members of the Livery gathered for the annual United Guilds Service at St. Paul’s Cathedral. The service, which brings together all Liveries and Guilds of the City, was a spectacular occasion filled with inspiring ceremony and beautiful music. Attendees came together to celebrate the City they are proud to call home under the magnificent dome of St. Paul’s.

On Tuesday, 25th March, the Master, Court members, and guests enjoyed a sausage and mash meal, sponsored by Liveryman Miles Rudham, followed by a parade through The City streets to the Mansion House, led by the Epping Forest Pipe Band. Upon arrival, the Master presented the 696th Lord Mayor, Alderman Alistair John Naisbitt King, with the traditional Boar’s Head and WCB gifts.

At our March military-themed Court luncheon the WCB welcomed representatives from our three Military Affiliated Service units. They were Major Benjamin Millan from the Army’s Catering Training Wing at Worthy Down, Lieutenant Barney Trimble from HMS Tyne based at Portsmouth and Squadron Leader Alisa Rebbeck from 600 (City of London) Squadron RAF-Aux based at RAF Northolt. The guest of honour was Colonel Jane Carey-Harris TD DL VR.
