The WCB Golfing Society team joined the Distillers for their Livery golf day at Tandridge Golf Club on 20 October.
The team performed well in changeable weather conditions., playing from reduced allowances of 85 percent of course handicaps scored 81 stapleford points in a competition in which the best two scores counted on each hole.
WCB triumphed in a very respectful second place, just one behind the victorious Insurers.
Whilst each enjoying a shot of 18 year old single malt whiskey on the 19thm they also each took home a bottle from the Distillers' wine cellar!
Thanks to the Distillers for a great day The team look forward to returning to Tandridge Golf Club next year to compete for bottles of the Master's whisky - the prize for coming first!
