Eid Dinner 2026

Our Annual dinner in celebration of Eid al-Adha took place on Tuesday the 16th of June 2026 at Butchers Hall, held in partnership with AHDB and NFU (National Farmers'​ Union). the evening brought together colleagues from across the meat and agriculture sectors to mark Eid al-Adha and reflect on the importance of diversity and inclusion within the industry.

The evening began with a networking drinks reception on our roof terrace, supported by sponsors, the Halal Certification Organisation Ltd and Halal Food Authority, where guests were able to socialise and enjoy alcohol free drinks in the sun, while The Master and members of the Livery greeted them.

Drinks were followed by a talk from our guest speaker Navaratnam Partheeban OBE of IVC Evidensia Djursjukvård, who shared valuable insights on advancing equity and inclusion across the agriculture and veterinary sectors. Then a halal dinner, with Lamb as the main course, generously sponsored by WCB Corporate Partner Pilgrim's Europe and Shans Halal Meats.

A donation of £200 was also presented to Islamic Relief Worldwide, who, Since 1984, have saved and transformed the lives of over 120 million people. By responding to disasters, rebuilding lives and preparing people in case disaster strikes.
