Inter-Livery Carol Service and Supper - 16 December

Published on: 18 December 2025

On Tuesday 16th December, the Master, accompanied by his Consort and several Liverymen, attended the annual Inter-Livery Carol Service, organised by the Worshipful Company of Tax Advisers, at the Church of Saint Bartholomew the Great, joining colleagues from other Livery Companies. The church was full, and a short choral performance by Rupert Gough, Director of Music, accompanied by choristers Cecily Beer and Hannah Dienes Williams, provided a festive prelude. After the service, members enjoyed a drinks reception and three-course supper at Butchers’ Hall, sharing fellowship and good cheer with fellow Liverymen and representatives from other Companies. The Master of the Tax Advisers’ Company concluded the evening with warm Christmas and New Year wishes, rounding off a memorable celebration of music, fellowship, and festive spirit.
