Liverymen hit the slopes for Inter-Livery Ski Championships

Three Liverymen, Providitor Margaret Boanas, Captain Claire White, Liveryman Rory Duff, and two guests, took to the slopes in Morzine, France during January, representing the Worshipful Company of Butchers in the Inter-Livery Ski Championship.
This, our first venture to the well-established event with 36 Livery Companies represented by nearly 250 skiers, was a great success with our team holding their own, if that’s the right expression, in the Slalom, Giant Slalom as well as the Après Ski!
The team, wearing smart, branded helmet covers, shown here, generated good recognition amongst Liverymen from other companies as well as many positive comments about our “new” Butchers’ Hall.
