Chair of Aubrey Allen and Master Elect of the Worshipful Company of Butchers, Peter Allen was presented with a prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the Meat Industry Awards last Thursday, 3 September.
The award, which Meat Management presents very rarely, recognises Peter’s exceptional contribution to the meat industry and his role as a key figure and role model within the sector.
Building on the family business started by his father, Aubrey, Peter has transformed it from a retail powerhouse across Coventry into a nationally recognised foodservice brand, with renowned chefs including the Roux family and Raymond Blanc becoming not only clients but friends.
Peter’s passion for continual improvement, learning and helping others succeed has made him a respected and inspirational figure in the industry. This well-deserved award is a wonderful recognition of his achievements and lasting legacy.
