We were delighted to host a memorable evening, marking Gwyn Howells’ final event as Master Butcher, with a visit to the beautifully restored North Wing and Great Hall at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, including the famous Hogarth Staircase.
The evening also included the presentation of this year’s £16,274.33 donation, generously raised through WCB General Charities and individual donors, to the Master’s chosen charity, Barts Charity.
The group then took part in a fascinating guided walking tour of historic landmarks around Butchers’ Hall, led by Liveryman Andy Mackenzie.
