On Wednesday 5 November, we were honoured to host a 50th anniversary Butchers' Company breakfast, following the early morning rehearsal of this year's The Lady Mayor's Show, which will take place on Saturday 8 November. The breakfast is an annual tradition, held each year at Butchers’ Hall on the Wednesday before the Mayoralty Show.
We were delighted to invite The Lady Mayor Elect Alderman Dame Susan Langley DBE and Pageantmaster Dominic Reid OBE to sign our Golden Book to mark the occasion. They were also presented with gifts of a Smithfield meat hamper and a Butchers' apron. What a brilliant way to start a City day!
